The mission of AME is to help families in the practical application of apprenticeship, mentorship and entrepreneurship to the glory of God. As part of that mission, we’re excited to announce two upcoming programs in Kansas City and in Denver. These programs will provide practical training and hands-on opportunities for young entrepreneurs. Hurry and sign up – space is limited!
On Thursday, April 21st, you’re invited to a training near the KCI Airport led by AME Director Mike Cheney. Come learn how to manage your money, reach new customers, present yourself professionally, and more. Training participants are also registered for the business plan contest (with the winner receiving and iPad!). Additionally, young people are also invited to sign up for a booth in the Youth Vendor area of the MPE Conference (Friday and Saturday following the training). Advance registration is required and space is limited! (Conference registration is recommended but not required.)
On June 17th-18th, coinciding with the Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference, students are invited to register for a training, business plan contest, and participation in the youth vendor area. Registration is limited and includes all 3 components. At the training, students will learn how to manage money, reach new customers, present themselves professionally, and more. Participants will also have the chance to enter the business plan contest (prizes include an iPad!) and will have designated space in the Youth Vendor area to sell their wares. Advance registration is required and space is limited! (Conference registration is required.)
